Loraine
it is the other way round I think I've only seen DB push the DDogs, telling the nation how wonderful they are.
whippets
Be interesting to see if he did. I remember plain as day, Don Jerk advocating cross breds and carrying on about tail docking. He should stick to what he knows best, horse crap for the garden and weed removal.
Genabee
There was some woman advocating cross breed dogs on either Sunrise or the Morning Show earlier this week... I had a cringe moment.
Nushie
My dad got a DVD with one of the Don Burkes mag's and it was the top 6 dog breeds in Australia (according to Burke himself) and out of the 6, 4 were DD's. He then went on to describe how much better DD's were and how it eliminates health issues etc. It was all total Bull S.....!
jazawayaya
He has a whole website describing temprements and characteristics etc of DDs
Katdogs
I'm still removing the weeds that Don recommended in his facts sheets 20 years ago - stupid palm trees...

He certainly knows all about horse sh*t ;) I well remember the program where he had pictures of the "well-socialised puppies" in puppy farms, compared to a "typical breeder's set-up" (dog in small chain fenced concrete run) :D ETA - that was the last "Burke's Backyard" I ever watched Edited August 20, 2010 by poodlemum
Linda K
yep, would also have said it was the other way round - that people like DB have helped create the DD influx

Lucky he wasn't anywhere near me whilst filming that disgusting propaganda. Farming dogs like chickens is CRUEL, no question. DB needs an empathy transplant. Henrietta
Well, I just heard him on his radio show give an RSPCA representative (Steve, sorry I didn't get his full name) a complete dressing down. He was saying that the RSPSA had lost it's way. Essentially, why were they picking on puppy farmers and why do they support the pedigree dog world? I will try and find a transcript of the full conversation.
