puglvr
Our club has an Open Show. We have 2 trainee Judges 1 for the breed classes and one for the Property classes. We ask our judges to critique the dogs as well. As for numbers. When my boy won there was an entry of 106. So he actually beat more dogs in that show than he needed to beat all up to attain his Ch title.
Trisven13
Well now I understand why I've never heard of them . I've been to a Judge's training day with the Fauves but that is all.
Amstaff_Ambition
What about group shows? I have seen people advertise their dogs as BIS Ch. on their profile whilst only winning a group show, now i think that is misleading!
WreckitWhippet
If there were points, it counts LOL
SkySoaringMagpie
What about group shows?I have seen people advertise their dogs as BIS Ch. on their profile whilst only winning a group show, now i think that is misleading! A BIS at the Sydney Hound or Sighthound shows under an international specialist is - in my eyes - worth more than a BIS at a country ag show with 200 dogs under a local all breeds judge who is not a specialist.
