kirst_goldens
i would do a transfere and see both breeders - point being u fall in lve with a pup from the first breeder and they may seem really good ethical etc... but then the next breeder might be even better and the pups may be healthier and happier then the first, the breeder should be happy u are looking around and doing ur research i know with my cat i went and visited a few times from the day they were born onwards and i picked at 8 weeks - cats dont leave the nest till 12 weeks, and i transfered the money and she lived around the corner! Better to check and double check and mention to breeder one what ur plans are simply say i am going to look at another litter this arvo, but i really love this puppy is it possible to comtact u with our decision tonight/tomorrow. Any breeder who says no pay now or forget it... u probably dont want to deal with - NEVER make ur decision staring into the puppies cute lil eyes LOL u need a clear head and a lenghty discussion with ur other half after seeing both litters and having a coffee and no puppy breath left lingering lol i know its hard but as long as u make urself clear that u are interested but would lilke some time to be really really sure they shouldnt mind remember a golden is for 10-16 yrs u must make the right decision! not something to decide about on the spot. Odin-Genie
NEVER make ur decision staring into the puppies cute lil eyes LOL I did that with my elkhound puppy. We did extensive research on the breed, but when we were driving to the breeder's place to see the puppies, my OH and I kept telling each other that we would not put a deposit, we would not make a decision on the spot. Well, I saw this puppy out of a litter of four and instantly fell in love. He had to be the one. And guess what, every single second I look at him is a time I treasure over and over again. Do the research, but also go with your heart
