fiveplusone
My 10 month old GSP who weigh 27 kgs just ate about 1 or 2 tablespoons of mud cake (woolworths brand) Is that enough to cause problems?

Ravyk
No it isn't. There wouldn't be a particularly high amount of the toxin in a couple of spoons of chocolate cake because you have other ingredients within the cake. The lethal dose of dark chocolate is approx 1/4 ounce per 1kg of dog's weight. I know about 140g of dark chocolate is a lethal dose for a 22kg dog [mine got into that much but fortunately got to the vet in time].
