doggiemad
My 3 amstaffs are about to hit the 12 month mark and I want to send them off to an advanced training course. I want the best of the best! I have done a pretty good job so far and they can do all the commands and a few tricks for show and most of their issues have dissapeared. Because they were all rescues they still have some small behavioural issues and my latest has basic obedience only (only had him for 2 weeks) I want the trainer to be able to correct any issues as well. I have used some of the larger companies with the standard programs with previous dogs but to be honest I think I did a better job myself. Does anyone have an experience with any of the leading trainers?

Kavik
There are several really good trainers in NSW. Some are very well known and have high profiles, others are not as well known.

Someone's going to ask the question so it may as well be me - Why don't you train them yourself instead of sending them away
doggiemad
Going on holidays so I need the boarding anyways. No harm in getting extra professional assistance if I have the money but not the time. My 3 amstaffs are about to hit the 12 month mark and I want to send them off to an advanced training course. Sorry I can't help you as I'm in Qld, I wouldn't even know anyone up here who boards while training I'm just curious as to what you might require in "advanced" training? doggiemad
Just want them to become extremely good and quick with their commands and do them around all types of distractions and stimuli off lead. Its easy to control one dog but I want them to ALL to be in control at the same time! Spent a long time training my first who is a role model, but with the less obedient dogs she sometimes wonders why she has to obey if the others dont always. Each dog is different with varying energy levels so they all need individualised programs which is why I want to try a trainer which does not offer a stock standard program. One dog needs lots of socialisation and training around other dogs as is too excitable, one dog is a bit timid around other dogs, the last dog needs some time to be integrated into the pack as he is a newie etc etc... Cosmolo
I think its a great idea. Not sure of any quality B+T services in Sydney though. Do your research as there are some dodgy ones that you wouldn't want to use.
sas
Try Craig Murray on 0408 113 874, he's the only one I know personaly that boards and trains that I've heard positive feedback about, I've used him personaly as well.
