Wire Fox Terrier

I'm searching for information on wire fox terriers, unfortunately no replies in the Dog Breeds 101 section. Can anyone give me an insight to their personality, temperament, health, etc. They would be living on 25acres with border collies and have full run of the property. They would probably end up doing agility/ obedience with the BC's, but would be here mostly to serve a purpose as a rat catcher. Any info appreciated.

Follow the fox terrier info , they are the same breed just a broken coat , used to be said that they were a little more terrier like than the smooths but they are not a common sight so you may have a little trouble finding a pup

There is a breeder here in Rocky, he is awesome, I've known him since I was a little kid. I love wire-haired fox terriers, I grew up with one named Fergus, he was the most wonderful dog, what a great choice you're making Ours used to chase cats if given the chance, and we always knew when he'd found an echidna because there'd be frantic barking followed by him trotting dolefully into the house with little pinpricks of blood on his nose
