poochiemama
From my understanding and reading of it, Eagle Pack Holistic used to be a great food but then their company changed hands and things haven't been so great. It's disappointing because i had high hopes for it but his coat was very coarse on it and dandruff was bad. It could be the seasonal shed though because he was shedding a lot but his coat is lovely and soft with Artemis. Also his weight is better on it too. Our goldie is doing great on it, but i would like her to gain some weight.
sezling
I've actually kept my dog on EP anchovy~ ^^ He isn't dropping so much fur from his muzzle (thinking it was an adjustment period maybe?) and isn't itchy from it... in fact the funny thing is his itches (from suspected environmental and food allergies) seemed to have totally cleared up. I'm now definitely sticking with kibble as my base rather than making his food from scratch. also the uncle albers didn't work out (horrible farts!) lisazkiwi
Umm, different things work for different dogs. I can't seem to go past Royal Canin Lab for an awesome coat. Innova Large Breed (LB) - nice coat, but runny stools - 2nd choice when on special! Advance - did HORRIBLE things to their coat. Dry, falling out in hand fulls. I've tried Euk Premium Performance LB, RC LB adult; RC LB Sensitive; Hill Science LB; Proplan Performance; EVO large bites, and some others I can't currently remember... I'm a bit fussy in that l prefer 26% protein (minimum I will do is 24%), which takes out a lot of the Eagle Pack stuff and quite a few others. I also refuse to pay more than a bag of Royal Canin Labrador in price as they do so well on it.
