newfsie Posted August 2, 2010 Share Posted August 2, 2010 We love to travel and have our dogs along...........Our dogs are rather large, so just all of us in a 17' caravan was at times awkward. But now our old caravan has been renovated on the inside by hubby. Mike has created a large crate area for our newfs and Tessa, We have our camping double mattress on the floor and they even have there own window, which is covered with mossy mesh and dog proof mesh. We will leave it open most of the times, but we are able to lock them away at times. We have also put dog proof mesh on top of the mossy mesh in the door, so that it can be left open. Our dogs love the caravan and go in and out by choice if left open. They love their new crate area and Katy has brought some of her toys in. We will enjoy travel with them a lot more now. We have found some great caravan parks and some great places to stay with dogs, some even have off leash places next door or nearby Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
