LizT
I would actually have really appreciated it if someone had stopped and asked to pat him because he needs to get used to being touched by strangers, and it's good opportunity to teach him to stay still while he's being patted. We don't have enough visitors to get plenty of hands-on experience from others, and where we live it's so quiet that I never see anyone else when I'm out walking.Thank goodness for the dog club though. Plenty of willing puppy-pat volunteers there. Oh well, perhaps her smile was the best aknowledgement she could manage, maybe inside she was just dying to stop and talk but was shy or felt it was an intrusion?? I must admit when a Mum brings a puppy to school I'm all over it...with permission and consideration for the puppy of course!
Tokkie
I can't resist puppies...... I just have to hug them. .... but I always ask first. Edited August 3, 2010 by Tokkie
