Remarkabull
I have seen that one. I think the meat ingredient is lamb, so good for dogs with a chicken allergy, got lots of good stuff in it. Kibble is very small so easy for puppies and small dogs to eat and cheaper than the 'premium' foods. (about $80 for 20kgs)
JulesP
Yeah it has nice ingredients. It is collies02 that is involved. Last time we talked about it seemed available in most states. I pay $69 for it here. 20kg bag I think.
stormie
Pro Plan doesn't seem to have dropped in price now it is being made here. I've questioned a couple of reps and have got evasive answers too. From experience, when a food changes to become made in Aus, the price tends to go up as they claim the ingredients are more expensive in Aus. Interesting to see what happens with Pro Plan

mac'ella
I have been using Scotties for the past 15yrs approx'its a cooked roll origanally made up by a greyhound trainer and you feed a smaller portion for the same results as other foods The kibble I use is called boomer I don't have a bag at the moment to see who makes it but my dogs thrive on both and you can see the difference in their condition and the lawn deposits if I feed other brands. My boxer almost 13 has eaten it since a puppy and still has a good proportion and coat our previous boxer lived to 12 also tho she started on it later but the difference was remarkable she toned up quickly and seemed more energetic,I'm interested to hear if any one else uses it
Gayle.
I think I have seen Boomer in the local Petstock store. I hadn't heard of it before so grabbed a bag of Supercoat for now.

GayleK, maybe you could try and pm collies02 as that is who JulesP said is involved with that food (hollistic one in 20kg white bag). I can get it from a lady at the local markets (might even be collies02 as she told me she has dogs with long coats, is a breeder and she also is a groomer) in Seymour and she has told me that she travels to a different market every weekend with her stall. (dog treats, beds, rugs etc) I think the markets are on here in a week or 2 and will get the details when I see her and post them for anyone that is interested. JulesP
Found the website - http://www.kylainknls.com/food.htm I've feed a heap of bags of both the puppy and adult with no issues. I get mine from Discount Animal Supplies on Warburton Highway, Lilydale.

I can often get supercoat in ripped bags etc for free but have found when I use it my dogs seem to loose condition it may be from changing diet who knows
collies02
Hi Everyone l am Collies02, Yes l have the Aust Made with Aust ingredients Lamb & Rice holistic dog food, Just want to say alot of imported products are irradiated, unless the manufacturer supplies AQIS with the temperature the product is cooked at AQIS will irradiate the product, My lamb & Rice has no wheat no corn and no soy, all added as fillers and to boost protein which is virtually usless to dogs, The Protein in my lamb & rice comes from the Lamb meal, it is also high in antioxidents (Blueberries etc), most people can not believe my German shepherds have 1 1/2 cups per night and are in very good condition, they also get raw minced chicken as l like to feed raw meat to, Kelly who distributes in NSW & ACT owns Labs she feeds them 300gm, Here in Vic another Lab breeder has just started on the Lamb & Rice as she was having to feed 5 cups of Royal Canin Lab, it all comes down to the ingredients less fillers means the dogs get more out of the food, and less the other end, If anyone would like a list of the ingredients it can be found on my website as well as a list of distributors, as well as the ones mentioned, Happy to answer any questions anyone has, but best to e-mail me as l am not on DOL all the time, l am very happy there is excellent feed back on the lamb & rice especially dogs with allergies and skin problems.
