Cheap Dog Toys?

As far as the digging is concerned, could you provide her with a designated digging area. Maybe a kids clam shell filled with dirt/sand. Hide toys in there to encourage her to use it and do as others have suggested to stop the digging elsewhere?

Thanks so much for the suggestions everyone! I think I enjoy watching her play more than she enjoys playing! Strange...

Does the clamshell thing work? I'd be happy to provide her with one, but I as I'm not home to tell her it's NOT ok to dig in the place she's digging (she only does it during the day when she's alone and bored) I'd be worried I'd just be encouraging digging in general - that is, how is she to know the clamshell is ok, but the grass isn't?

In the meantime, I'm going to try the poop idea!

The "Evil Sock Monster" is popular here. When I have socks with holes or excessive wear, I knot them tightly into a free form, vaguely octopus shape. It is an ever evolving toy. When one sock starts fraying, it gets removed and tossed away, and new socks are added as they wear out.

Currently it is about 12 socks big.

LOVE this idea! Great thread.

There is this big clearance centre sort of place (everything made in China) in Roxy (Melbourne).

My mate owns a store next door, so I stumbled across the dog toys they have by fluke.

I got like 4 toys for under 10 dollars, too good.

Sam's Warehouse by any chance?

I live right around the corner

I got Moon about $30 worth of toys from there; she looked like an old Scrooge McDuck comic, rolling in piles of toys :)
