kayla1
Has anyone used coenzyme Q10 for dogs with a heart murmur, and if so did you find it helped? Coco (11yr old Brittany) has a grade 3/4 heart murmur but is not showing symptoms.
Jed
Yes, I have, and so have friends - with old dogs with heart problems. Murmurs and simple slowing down. Unfortunately, I have forgotten the dosage - a capsule every second day for a small to medium size dog - but not sure how much in mg, so hopefully, someone else will know It did help the dogs I know who were put onto it. WoofnHoof
I might put my boy on it too, he was in at the vets over the weekend with a pancreatitis attack which they think was due to fatty food because he isn't showing any other heart symptoms (he has a murmur) but he hadn't had anything other than his normal dog food which isn't excessively fatty so I'm not really sure why the vet thinks it would be that
