Puppy Limping

My 9 week old puppy was fine last night when put to bed but this morning when I got her out of her pen she was limping on her back leg.

She does bare weight on it but it is obviously bothering her because she isn't bouncing around and has just curled up in her bed and gone back to sleep.... very unlike her.

I'm going to the vet at 9 but until then I'm sitting here feaking out! :o

Does it sound most likely to be just a pulled muscle if she can bare weight on it? I hope it's nothing too serious

Well I went to the vet and they can't find anything obvious wrong with her leg.

She didn't cry or pull her leg away when the vet put pressure in different spots but is still hobbling around on it and isn't playing like usual

The vet said to just rest her for a few days and see how she goes. She didn't seem too worried at all. Said it was most likely just a pulled muscle.

Not sure if I should be insisting on an xray or does the resting and waiting like the vet said sound reasonable.

Sigh.... still worried :D

poor puppy

Just wait for a few days and let her rest for a few day, if she's still limping.. you can ask for a xray

Thanks for the well wishes guys.

I'm sure I'm freaking out over nothing.

I just put little Angel outside to get some rays and she's walking around having a sniff and using the sore leg.

Hopefully that means it's most likely just a strain and she'll be feeling better soon.
