Argh Why Can't I Enter This Bloody Show On Ozentries!

I've been trying to enter s show on ozentries for my new puppy and it says that she is ineligiable (sp?) due to age.

Birth date is 21/05/2010 and the show is August 14th. I work that out as just over 12 weeks or am I wrong?

I've tried calling the show sec but there is no answer and ozentries was supposed to close a week ago but is still open so I'm trying really hard to get my entry in before they stop accepting entries.

Pup isn't 3 months old until 21/08/2010. It's not 12 weeks, it's 3 calendar months

It's actually 3 months, not 12 weeks.

So she's a week too young still.

That's correct, she is ineligible.

Minimum age is 3 months - she will be 3 months of age on the 21st August, she is not 3 months old when she's 12 weeks old.

There is another show on the next weekend 21st, when she WILL be 3 months old.

I just tried to enter that one and there is no baby puppy in the class list. It starts at class 2 but in the show ad it says class 1 will be judged.

Any ideas?

look and see if there is a baby puppy drop down menu below the adult classes

There is another show on the next weekend 21st, when she WILL be 3 months old.

I just tried to enter that one and there is no baby puppy in the class list. It starts at class 2 but in the show ad it says class 1 will be judged.

Any ideas?

If she turns 3 months on the day of the show she will have to be entered in the next class

why is that? Shouldn't she be in baby puppy from 3-6 months?

Just spotted this in the rules, which is useful to remember:

"To calculate the age of dogs for entry into breed classes, where the date of birth does not occur in the relevant month, the anniversary date shall be taken as the last date of that month, e.g. dogs born on 31/1 will be eligible to enter baby puppy class on 30/4".

I think dracdog got a bit confused. Yes can be entred on the 21/08/2010 in class 1 baby puppy and on the 21/11/2010 will go into class 2 puppy.
