pie
Here's a recent thread on NG http://www.dolforums.com.au/index.php?showtopic=199233 I personally like it, it's the only supermarket tinned food I would buy for my dogs. I don't use it as their main diet though.
spottychick
Love it - also not used as their main diet but useful for my stone-former as part of his overall diet and I use it for emergencies. I also use the semi-dry kibble as treats etc and to help build up the boy's weight
Loraine
It is the only tinned food I would give my dog. I feed BARF, but keep some NG in the cupboard for emergencies.

Spitzbabe
Personally had it in the cupboard for years. Don't use as the main diet but if ever I run out of BARF it's there waiting.
karly101
Have tried it a couple of times but it usually results in dogs vomiting.. I use Ecopet rolls instead.
IntrepidDachsie
Ours have been ok with the tinned chicken one, but gives them the runs. No luck with the semi dry chicken, sets off their allergies.
KumaAkita
I got a sample pack of the chicken kibble in a better homes and gardens gift bag. Kuma ate them like it was crack! We used it as treats and he loved it...
Kayne's Mum
I have never fed Kayne the beef variety but I do give him the chicken and he has had no side affects at all. I spoke to their ppl at the pet expo 2 years ago. With a dog like him that has had so many reactions to meat, I'm happy with this line. He needs a bit of variety and there's not much that I can feed him. There's no way in hell that I'd try any other tin food. The kangaroo does not go down too well though. (neither does it in the raw form) It's good to "wet" his kibble as he hates it dry
oakway
I saw some of the cans on the supermarket shelf yesterday and read the analysis, I suggest you do to. I just smiled and put it BACK.
Kayne's Mum
I saw some of the cans on the supermarket shelf yesterday and read the analysis, I suggest you do to. I just smiled and put it BACK. If I had to read everything and take everything into consideration,my dogs would not eat - meats are contaminated with hormones, test vaccines, etc and vegies are covered in pesticides. Geez. we have to be realistic at some point. Same as with human consumption. Some families cannot afford to put meat on the table everyday for themselves, let alone their pets. IMO, a couple of tins a week is not going to kill them.
JulesP
This is the analysis of their chicken, rice & vegetables. * 70% Real Chicken (contains no red meat) * Rice * Vegetables Typical Analysis (892kj per 100g) * Protein 10.8% * Fat Min 8% * Crude Fibre 0.5% * Calcium 1.3% * Phosphorus 0.6% * Ash 3.6% * Moisture 68% * Salt (occuring naturally) 0% Not sure what is wrong with chicken, rice & veggies? oakway
Errrrrrr, 10% protein, as far as I am aware my dog food is 24%. I add raw food to that.
rubiton
The canned food we use (optimum) has 6.0 % protein and 4.0% fat - when I chose it I was looking for the low fat and NG was one of the higher ones. Now its also protein I need to look for and it seems to keep low for that too. Canned food is added to the dry food (dry food is the bulk of diet). JulesP
errr it is 10% because it doesn't have fillers and uses fresh meat and veggies, so has a high moisture content naturally. Your raw food would have a similar moisture content unless you were are feeding meat meal?
