Dog Food

Hi - any particular reason, like allergies/illness, that they need this food?

The reason being that if you have a skinny lab- ...with decent teeth/digestive system -and it needs a bit more meat on its bones feeding yummy stuff like ox cheek and lamb flaps will help

We arn't sure if he is sick yet waiting for the blood tests to come back.

He is 9years old.

Yes you can see his ribs and vertebrae. He weighs 27.53kgs

Would the pro plan be better for him?

I'd await veterinary advice but the quality of food he's getting may not be the issue here.

Fingers crossed for you and your labby. ;)

I have a 2 year old Lab who had severe intestinal bleeding when I got him a few months ago, and is very sensitive to certain kibble (pukes it up). He was also disgustingly boney. After reading some of the other threads I tried Uncle Albers which is higher in fat than most, and is very reasonably priced. He is thriving on it. Coat is shiny, stools good, and very good condition keeping the weight on. Any change in diet (even table scraps) and his body can't handle it, so I'll be keeping him on the UA plus his meat.

I hope you get some good news. ;)
