Prag
Hey Guys, I'm pretty sure my little man Raiden is teething as he is four months and he is now trying to chew lots more. So far I have been wetting his rope toys and a small cloth then freezing them, which he seems to like. I just wanted to know if anyone else has any other good ideas or suggestions they have tried? Thanks
Michelleva
Lots of raw bones. My girl is 6 months, she's getting a heap of bones, they really do help.
Bundyburger
Raw bones, and even frozen carrots (supervised) helped my pup.. he loved them and the coldness helped soothe the gums.
Jetty
Even try chicken necks that are still a bit frozen.
BCPuppy
same as everyone said, ice cubes too, Marlin loved getting a couple just before bed, still thinks they are a great treat even now :D
WreckitWhippet
roo tail or a good piece of lamb flap, the ripping action will help the baby teeth to come out

koalathebear
Thanks for all the tips. Our poor puppy is also teething now and it is upsetting to see the blood - he seems fine though! Nonetheless we do want to try to make him as comfy as we can so we have frozen one of his rope toys and a kong!

whiskedaway
Slight side question. My pup started losing her baby teeth at about three and a half months, and now at five months, when her mouth is opened it appears that she has all of her adult teeth. Can everything happen that fast?

Can everything happen that fast? Yep. Very quick event. Think about it - in the wild they need their teeth to eat the food available, nature has designed them to change teeth and quickly so they can continue to grow and thrive. He has always been a bit of a chewer (of his toys) so i cant say he has been chewing more. His teeth aren't little needles anymore either. Will have a look and feel around his mouth tonight. I'm still shocked at how fast Elbie is losing ihs baby-teeth and getting his adult teeth. Suddenly he has a mouth of big white teeth in place of his itty bitty little baby teeth! Fortunately he's very gentle with mouth - taking treats etc
Tokkie
Nandi lost her first tooth, Wednesday..... Today is Friday and I can already see 4 new teeth coming through her gums. I was wondering, is it painfull like for human babies? I'm asking because she is not eating all her food, but still playing, running around etc.
