woodbyne
We had our 2 year old bitch desexed today. I was hoping to breed from her however the list of health issues is to long to list. Turns out its been a good decision she has polycystic ovaries. I'm hoping this will be the ned of a few underlying complaints. I had never heard of it before she is only my second bitch but my other bitch was desexed at 6 months so nevr even had a season. Looking online the symptoms were her to a Tee. Just hoping this solves some of her issues now
dancinbcs
It is a reasonably common problem and I picked it in one of mine because I had read about in horses. The symptoms are the same, no matter what species. My girl had one litter before developing the problem and we were unable to get another litter from her. The ovarian cysts didn't show on an ultrasound but my suspicions were confirmed when I had her spayed.
