The 40-year-old man, from the northern town of Te Kopuru, was sitting in the back seat of a four-wheel-drive when the dog stepped on the trigger, the New Zealand Herald reports. The man was rushed to hospital and had surgery to remove the bullet. He remains in a stable condition. The man had been returning from a pig hunting trip with friends when the accident happened. OSoSwift Posted July 13, 2010 Share Posted July 13, 2010 Has he not heard of the safety? Or removing ammo from the gun??? Makes you wonder when it sounds like he is a person that goes pig hunting.
