Dogs Got Spooked By Black-out

My bunch are usually not phased by anything - lightning, fireworks.... they just take it all in their stride.

We've just had a black-out in the street - everything went phut and died !! The dogs were so freaked. It didn't bother me at all, so it's not like they picked up stressed-out vibes off me. I just got out the torch, lit some candles and poured myself a glass of red

Meanwhile, they stressed, and sooked and followed me everywhere. I didn't pander to them , and now everythings back they're in the usual spots on the sofa ! I'm not worried at all, I just wonder why they reacted like that? Any ideas?

Don't know why they do that but my two did exactly the same thing when we had the power outage in the upper northshore last week. We lit candles (no glass of wine at 5.00am) and took them for a walk around the oval. They were ok after that.

hmmm interesting. Maybe they just picked up the feeling of something being very different and were a bit freaked because they weren't sure what it was. I don't know if that made sense LOL but I know what I mean so that's all that matters eh!!!
