The vet has given him Amitriptyline - 2 x 10mg per day, also known as Endep 10. Noisymina thanks for the link I'll go read up. Thanks for the good wishes and the hugs LuvmyCav. OSoSwift Posted July 13, 2010 Share Posted July 13, 2010 I had a cat on Endep for years. It stopped me being shredded when for not apparent reason he would "freak" and take off. He ripped a hole clear through my eyelid, put a huge scratch across my throat up my arms and various other places over a period of time. Once a freak started because my OH turned off a light switch just outside the bedroom. Anyway the Endep made it a lot safer to have him sleeping curled up on my pillow that was for sure!
