Jsk
Not asking for me but a question I have seen on another forum. If its an Oops mating and the bitch is mated before a prefix is registered would a person be able to register a prefix and then still register the pups? Curious so I know what I reply is correct. Thanks
WreckitWhippet
You used to be able to mate your bitches with your prefix pending. Now it's a case of sit the open book exam, wait for your prefix to be approved and then mate your bitch ( that's for NSW anyway ) You could possibly appeal to the board under special circumstances, they might allow the litter to be registered, quite possibly on the limit register. Jsk
I am questioning QLD if that matters. Not wanting to know age bitch must be or anything like that. The bitch has been bred pups are on the ground. Can this person still apply for a prefic and register these pups?
Wynnlake
In short yes. DogsQLD will register the litter after the prefix has been registered, so long as it is before the pups are 18 months old. So long as the breeder is a finacial member, they will be fine, perhaps just a small fine.
