Greyhound Jumper Knitting Pattern

Brock, our HamiltonStovare, had to have part of his intestines removed when he was younger due to a blockage. Since then, we haven't been able to get weight on him. When we moved to SA, the boarding kennels we used tried to get weight on him as well but failed. He doesn't carry any excess weight at all and is feeling the cold. The boarding kennels even bought him a coat but Brock ate it. Luckily he didn't get another blockage.

I was thinking that maybe a knitted jumper might be better for him and he may not be able to eat it as easily as there won't be any loose bits. He has a similar shape to a Greyhound and I was wondering if anyone has a knitting pattern for a Greyhound jumper?

I found a lady who makes greyhound coats on Ebay. If you google 'greyhound coats' her links should come up. They are very cheap so eaily replaced if the dog eats them, and she will make them to order for the same price. I have lots of her coats here (because my dogs destroy coats and I was wasting my money on expensive ones) and they are great.

Thank you. I will go and check out ebay.

I would also like to knit one as I am in the mood for knitting at the moment.

Have a look in The Pinned topics, under Pet Craft links, I posted a knitted pattern there that I got from K9 Communities in the UK. Also the Panda knitting book has a pattern that will fit greyhounds, but is modelled by a Whippet in the booklet.
