Dog Sports Lake Macquarie/newcastle Area

Hi,

CAn anyone direct me to a club or somewhere I can take an (almost) 9 month old Kelpie for dog sports. She is very active and keen to learn.

I live East Lake Macquarie, so somewhere Lake MAc/ Newcastle area.

I know there is an "all-breeds" club at Hillsborough, but they only take at 12 months.

You'll find that most have age restrictions on the dogs that can participate in agility as dogs are still puppies with growing bodies at 9mths of age and their joints and muscles need to be protected so beginners agility classes (or Pre-agility classes) run from 12mths at Hillsborough, Obedience classes run from 4mths of age - this is pretty standard across the local clubs in the area .....
