Bilbo Baggins
The Victorian gazette is out and, once again there are no Neuter classes offered at any Allbreeds shows in Victoria. NSW Gazette not one until Feb. :nahnah: ;) Yeah, I was a bit sad about that too! Oh well, there's a fair few between now and then though. I just feel bad for the Victorians who don't have any! TerraNik I did not think there was in in NSW until just before Christmas?? ;) ;) :D We have to get 64 points in before Wil succumbs. Mind you the way she races around she is like a puppy. Bilbo Baggins
I attempted to ring Elizabeth White today but she was not in. I spoke to a show sec today and she said a few people are reluctant to do Neuter due to prolonging judging. Is it not the same as a few extra dogs in other classes. South Aus appears to have 18/A in all shows after mid December.

Would they also prefer us to enter fewer dogs in regular classes?? Maybe put a rule that no one can enter more than two dogs per show to hasten judging! What crap. It doesn't even make sense (especially as entry numbers have been declining???)

Just did a count, Blaze has 60 points towards his N.Ch. Hard to believe it's been 10 shows already!

Bilbo Baggins
Well I finally spoke to Elizabeth White yesterday. She states that its up to the clubs. They can put on what ever they choose. :p ;) :(

More likely they think they'll make a loss on sashes etc.The "prolonging judging" line is something I find irritating, as it's the same reasoning for awarding the Class In Group early for BIG etc. Controlling Bodies have the option of making Neuter Classes compulsory, as they are for 2, 3, 4, 5, 11. angelsun
I noticed her blurb in the Gazette saying that the clubs have the option to offer it....as for the excuses as to why they won't...very thin if you ask me...all we can do really, is keep lobbying the local clubs and when the class IS offered...try to find an entry for them.
