Trisven13 Posted June 26, 2010 Share Posted June 26, 2010 (edited) Hi everyone! Had a great day (didn't win ) but had a blast and it was great to hear about my dogs from an expert. Challenge Dog went to Xkaliba Nicholas Froment (sp?) who is owned by Master Lachlan Lang from Melbourne - there was much cheering and tears at that win. Challenge Bitch went to Nevedith Iz Top Ace, Chrissy, who is Marie's mum - I must say the minute I saw her I knew she was going to win as she looked the very best I've ever seen her. A real credit to Neil & Susan for getting her into tip-top shape for this big show. Whilst of course Challenge Bitch was my dream for the day I was still very happy with their performance. Daphne was run off for Intermediate Bitch against her sister but was pipped at the post by Carla who was runner-up for Challenge Bitch. Marie was Oz Bred Bitch and was beaten for Oz Bred of breed by her brother because, as the Judge said, she wouldn't hold her tail up, silly girl . The Judge spoke with all exhibitors after judging and was very, very complimentary about the Fauves here in Australia. She also talked to us about the really important things for us to look for and, thankfully, it was all the things we're aiming for. Still on a high, I had such a great time and Fifi - you will be very proud - no nerves at all, my girls and I just had fun. It was bloody cold all day and I'm only just warming up now I'm home in the heating in my slippers. I'm getting better with technology. I got a new HTC HD2 and can now work out how to download the weather (yes that is important to me ) but still havn't worked out how to SMS.
