samoyedman Posted June 17, 2010 Share Posted June 17, 2010 AN animal rights group blasted actor Chris Klein, who had a blood-alcohol level that was three times the legal limit when he was arrested on suspicion of DUI today, for driving intoxicated with an animal in his car. TMZ.com said the 31-year-old American Pie actor had a blood-alcohol level over .20 when he was arrested, according to the report. The legal limit in California is .08. "By choosing to drive under the influence with his dog in the car, Chris not only put innocent drivers in danger, but broke a promise to be a protector and guardian to his pet," a spokesman for the group, In Defense of Animals, told TMZ.
