corvus Posted June 17, 2010 Author Share Posted June 17, 2010 If they follow the same pattern as these chookies, and the starlings and rats they've done the same thing with, look for happy behaviour at its maximum when they have settled into their new home and realised it's awesome, then a gradual decrease as they get used to their new life and adjust their standards to suit. Hi Pers - one idea to help the chooks adjust is to lay some chicken wire on the ground of their pen - you may well find they feel more secure to stand on the wire to begin with due to familiarity.
