Burkes
Ooohhhh, I went out today and bought a new Canon 550D with the twin lens kit. So excited. I currently have a darling foster dog called Ruby who is so beautiful but for some reason no one wants her......yet. I figure some new nice photos can't hurt so hence the camera. Don't worry, I have been thinking about one for a while. So here are a few photos that I took this afternoon. Have had no time to edit or do anything except stick it on auto, point and shoot so they are not fantastic but I am so happy with the clarity. Can't wait to have some days off work to really get into it. Oh, and can anyone tell me what the quickest way to resize the images is using the Canon software? Oh, and how to add images without them being in the small black box. Sorry 'L' plates! Edited June 16, 2010 by Burkes
redangel
Congrats Burke-check out the Photo forum...plenty of canon-nites there.
Kirislin
hahaha, what a great excuse for buying a camera! the photos are a bit small for my poor eyes to see, even when I clicked on them. can you make them a bit bigger?
Burkes
THanks Kirislin, I'm still trying to work out the best way to minimise them without them being so small. Any tips would be appreciated
Kirislin
I dont know how to minimise, I just use flickr and transfer my pics from there.
kja
There should be a resize option - likely under Image or File. I don't use the canon software so don't know exactly. You want to change the dimensions so the longest side is about 650-800 pixels so that it will show on most people's screens. I also change to 72 dpi and choose my save as setting to be about 68 (or 6 or 7, depending on the program) - this will resize the file so it's nice and small and even those on dial up will be able to see it. Congrats on the new camera!!
