Adelaide Puppy Preschool Recommendation?

Hi guys

Can anyone recommend a puppy preschool in Adelaide? Unfortunately our puppy's vet is full for the intake. I live in the inner southern suburbs, so anywhere south or not too far out of the city would be great.

Dover gardens obedience club has a puppy school inside their clubs rooms one night a week. from memory, your annual membership fee gives you the ability to attend puppy school and then graduate outside the obdedience club with all the other dogs.

You could try the Holdfast Dog Centre (link). I didn't take Luka to this puppy pre-school so don't have first hand experience with their puppy classes but I did do the basic obedience class and found it to be really good. I did try the obedience classes at Dover (again not the puppy school so not sure about what they are like) but I personally didn't like them. I thought they seemed more obedience trialling oriented while Holdfast was much more 'pet dog manners' training oriented which suited me and Luka much better. Hope that helps.

I've enrolled Shebu in puppy preschool at Holdfast. She starts this Saturday.

Shebu, how did the puppy preschool go?

I took Ringo to Holdfast for his basic obedience training (after trying another school where we had a bad experience) we loved Holdfast.

But like Colliepaws said I think they are more pet orientated, I am thinking of taking Nandi to Dovers when she is older.

How far south are you, (I,m in Woodcroft) let me know if you want a play date for Shebu, Nandi loves playing.
