It was the smoothest running specialty for the breed that I can recall, so thanks everyone for helping. The day started with the Open Show with breed classes judged by Janice Campbell (Victoria). Her Best in Show was Cappy ( http://www.dogzonline.com.au/breeds/profile.asp?dog=25996 ), son of my old dog BB ( http://www.dogzonline.com.au/breeds/profile.asp?dog=1335 ). Best Opposite was my bitch Jessica ( http://www.dogzonline.com.au/breeds/profile.asp?dog=17650 ), Cappy's full sister. Runner Up to Best In Show was my dog Ziggy ( http://www.dogzonline.com.au/breeds/profile.asp?dog=28432 ). We then had funnies judged by Janice's husband Ken Campbell followed by lunch and presentations. In the afternoon the Championship Show was judged by Lyn Hartley Bennett (South Australia). Lyn's Best in Show was Zane ( http://www.dogzonline.com.au/breeds/profile.asp?dog=29637 ), litter brother of Ziggy. Once again Best Opposite was Jessica and Runner Up To Best In Show was Ziggy. Even BB got in on the act, taking Best Aus Bred in Show. I have bred infrequently since I started showing in 1997, and I haven't purchased in dogs to campaign, so last Sunday's results are very special to me as they lend strong support to the breeding decisions I've made in the past. Please pass on my congrats to Rochelle also I don't know her that well but have had a few chats ringside and she is so lovely and a fantastic ambassador for your breed!!
