If it is just that, blood and bone straight from the digester at the factory it will not hurt.

If it has been turned into fertilizer it can be dangerous. Fertilizer has added ingredients what may kill.

That's the point - how much of anything is "natural" today.

SORRY for not updating sooner. She spoke to her vet yesterday but the dogs stools had already firmed up again. Shes fine. Thanks for the concern.

As said......... if it came from the digester at the abattoir or the factory processing the blood and the bone, it will just that. Dog food manufactures purchase it to add to dog food, or did depending on the brand.

My last dog ate half a bag of blood & bone, including most of the bag. He was fine once he stopped stinking.

Of course these days if it happened I'd take the dog to the vet even if it's just because the dog ate plastic but I was just a kid & it wasn't my choice.
