Missymoo
so, I thought I had taught my neighbours alot but i guess not, sigh. They call me over and I walk in the kitchen to see a puppy... A Min Pin X Mini Foxie...ok...from PP they couldnt leave it there.... I hate it when people know your doggy so they expect you to be all excited, when all you really want to say is WHY WHY WHY? Granted her temp seems ok, her teeth are ok for a baby..but still...i just feel frustraited, especially when both of them work 8 hour days and they got this breed? I cant see much Foxie in it...she is pretty cute, but my mother always taught me, if you cant say anything nice dont say nothin at all vent over..ps I will make sure its very socialised with my lot at least
~*Shell*~
It's very difficult but at that point, there's really nothing you can do but point them in the right direction training and socialisation wise. I know a few people who have come and asked me for puppy-buying advice, only to end up with something really unsuitable that was the opposite of what I said. It's a shame really - i feel like I've wasted my time.
Kissindra
people are funny like that - I had an aquaintance expect me to give her big thumbs up to her semi-formed plan to get a kitten while her housemate/landlord/friend was overseas. He'd said no to a kitten until she was in a stable job, it wasn't caused by a dislike of cats, just that he didn't want to then become responsible for said cat when she inevitably f*cked up. This is a girl who abandoned her last cat when she moved because she couldn't be bothered looking for it on move day yet she thought I'd think it just dandy to get another and to do so behind the back of a mutual friend who was putting a roof over her head while she was in the middle of yet job rut of her own making. Missymoo
Feel slightly better now. Went over armed with a puppy pen, crate for them. We spent a while discussing socialisation and desexing at 6 months
shells
They probably knew better but then let their emotions override their head and think that they are saving it.
