t-time
I would think a show line as there isn't enough "work" to keep a working dog busy and their requirements mean that although they do a bit of training and exercise, they are not out there herding every day with the dog. t-time
I can't think of a home with a gundog where the dog won't go off if there is someone outside The majority of dogs are pretty good watchdogs though not all are bred for the purpose. There are a number of Toy breeds specifically breed as companion and alert dogs but we want a bigger breed than a Toy ETA: This may be where a German Pinscher might fail........we need to ask Angelsun! kiesha09
As there has been 10 posts I think the rules of the game means there can be a new set of criteria. Hope thats correct, otherwise just ignore the below: Let's pretend you work for a company which matches a person/family's lifestyle and preferences to a breed of dog. So considering the facts/requests given, which breed would you recommend? Remember, your job is on the line! CLIENT 'B' Family Members: one adult female, 27 years Housing: courtyard home with medium size backyard, suburbs Schedule: Full time work 40+ hours per week, Visitors: every other day, boyfriend, friends and nieces (small children) Other Pets: None Other Dogs: 2 small white fluffies Size Preferences: 10kg + Coat Preferences: Don't like excessive grooming, but willing to take to professional. Prefer non/little shedding Willing to Groom: weekly Willing to Exercise: up to an hour a day playing/training plus free exercise Training Preferences: Needs to be readily trainable and handler focused. Don't want independent breed Previous Training Experience: raised 2 SWF, used crate training and positive reinforcement methods. Trained in obedience and agility but more looking for a pet dog rather than performance. Inside/Outside Dog: Inside Goals for Dog: family companion, CGC test
t-time
As far as the BCs go - I *might* be concerned that the breed may try to herd the "Boarding" horses if there is not enough training. And we are not trying to keep a "showline" BC in show coat so a brush once a week still meets the grooming requirements!

Greytmate
Only a Standard Poodle would be over the weight/size requirement Yes, but a big male mini would come close. This game is hard, because I would need to question the person to determine their priorities. Sometimes people have conflicts in their requirements.
