Myself and two friends of mine bought a tonne of the $5 K-mart ones for the pound.

It has been very wet where I live, and absolutely freezing, it gets below zero at night and the dogs at the pound only have concrete to lie on :p

Together we bought enough for one to be in each kennel, while another is being washed and with a dozen left over.

So consider buying an extra one and dropping it off at you local pound or donating one to a rescue organisation

Or even just donating an old blanket of yours, now that you have a nice new one

Did anyone notice the strong smell on the coles ones 9the ones with the fringe)? I washed mine twice and they still smell so they haven't been used.

I got some great ones (double sided, thicker than the coles ones) for $6 from Ray's Outdoors.

We got one of the ones from Coles with the tassles. It smelled funny when I first got it and washed it...it now smells doggy! Leila needs a trip to the beach!

Yep! I have noticed the static, it's bad around the house but even worse in the metal crate. Leila doesnt care, she just loves to be warm and toasty! Her hot pink polar fleece coat from Warls also is really staticy but there is no way she is letting us take it off her!

I was going to buy some with the same idea in mind, but when I got there, there was only 1 left. Everyone must of snapped them up!

I went to Coles though, but will check out the local Kmart.
