Rileys mum
I have a 5 mnth old pup who I got from a wonderful and highly respected breeder. I notice that my pup has had his dew claws removed by them. Is this a common thing? I am happy they were removed as I have had dogs with dew claw issues in the past but I just wondered if it was a common thing? Cheers :-)
WreckitWhippet
Depends on the breed but it is very common.

nobul
I do them in my breed (bull terreir miniatures) some breeders do and some dont , i do because i find this breed has many problem left on for themselves and thier owners it is like a thumb to them. Anyway i do remove them and sometimes i admit i accidently forget to tell the new owners which is bad for me but i must try and remember.
