tlc
Hi guys after so many not so nice off leash dog park storys, I thought I'd post some pictures of some doggies having a fun evening at the dog park. I went today with one of my friends that has Sparky, I think he is a Skye Terrier, Sparky is 12 and full of life. They all had a ball!! Some of the pics are ordinary quality as it was getting late and I just snapped away, I couldn't be bothered setting the camera up for better pictures. Lazy I know!! Tully with her precious ball Sparky A series of shots, Cooper raced Tully to the ball and got there first, random dog in the back ground watching. Tully is aware of the random dog Cooper spots something in the distance and spits the ball out, it's slowing him down He picks up speed now he has seen another dog. wuffles
Awww, great pics, what a nice story! I find it amazing that they just form their own little packs with dogs they've only just met. Love seeing a bunch of friendly doggies having a good time together.

tlc
Awww, great pics, what a nice story!I find it amazing that they just form their own little packs with dogs they've only just met. Love seeing a bunch of friendly doggies having a good time together. It's funny, I was only just saying to Sparkys owner (she has never been to this park before) that all the dogs that frequent this park are all friendly and every one we come across tonight I had never seen before and they were all like old friends. Cooper makes it so easy as he is always the ice breaker and sooooo sociable, he has to say hi to everyone in the park. But at the same time a very good judge of character, if the other dog shows signs of not being friendly he doesn't go any closer and turns back around and comes back to me and the other dogs. Haahahahha Great photos!! I love the Cooper and random dog chase shots - totally hilarious and so full of joy. Thanks for posting this - it is good to see an off-lead park experience that's so wonderfully harmonious I agree, there is always a lot of nasty and horrible dog park stories, it is nice to hear some good ones. Maybe others would like to post thier positive dog park stories here too??
tez
What a really enjoyable set of photos. Loved the whole lot but you really captured Cooper's expression as decided other doggies are more interesting than Tully's ball Sparky is such a cutie and looks like a young lad in the piccies. And only Tully has a jumper on...would it be because washing a jumper with horse poo on it is easier than washing a whole dog with horse poo on her

Why is it that the whitest dog is the dirtiest dog, whether it be pooh, mud, water or any other dirty thing she can get into she will. The other day she rolled in Pooh and I washed her 3 times and clipped her the next day and could still see the stain from the darn pooh!! Tully is certainly the biggest tom boy ever. Kirislin
Lovely picture story, it really does portray the happy interactions that go on. I love the one where Cooper has to take drastic action and jettison the ball because it was slowing him down, and the ones of Cooper and Tully pelting across the field. Sparky looks like a terrific little dog.

tlc
They look like they are having a great time!! Good to see the ball being shared around, is one of your more ball oriented than the other? My white girl is ball crazy and the only reason Cooper or Bronson want the ball is so she will chase them

We are so lucky here that our park is without incidents. I know there may come a time when we are not so lucky and I try not to get complacent. I think it is always seems different in the cities where there is new dogs coming and going all the time.

My white girl is ball crazy and the only reason Cooper or Bronson want the ball is so she will chase them I think this is probably about the second time in the two years we've had him that Satchmo has picked up a ball He has no interest in them, except when they are being coveted by another dog, then they become a good prize. He always spits them out after a few seconds when he realises they're no fun Ava will chase a ball but much prefers chasing the doggies chasing the ball
Guest DBT
everyone is having so much fun ! Sparky is cute, but definitely not a Skye Terrier. Most likely a Silky Terrier or mix of
