Can Dogs Get Parvo From Foxes?

Hi,

Can anyone please tell me whether or not foxes can get parvo and pass it onto dogs? I've heard that dogs can get distemper from foxes, but have never heard about that with parvo.

After a quick google, it appears they can.

I cant remember what the go is with them because of the memory loss but i think that most vets will tell you yes

i would question this, as a fox is one chromosone short and is not considered a canine ???? maybe someone who hasnt lost their memory can come in to confirm this for you and for me ?? i can remember picking one up off the road once and took it to work and the boss said it had distemper and he put it down. i know they will also try and tell you you get mange from foxes, but this can get spread around by any dog who has it......
