New Age Outlaw
I know the huge variations in desexing prices have been discussed before; I did a bit of a search but didn't really find what i was looking for. The story is this: A friend has adopted 2 female Belgian Sheps- Malinois (one a while ago and one recently) and wants to get them desexed. I have been ringing around some places for him, and I did find a remarkable variation. What I would like is recommendations from anyone here who can find me a good but not ridiculously priced option for him...he is in the western suburbs of Brisbane, but is willing to travel (within reason). Thanx!
Ashanali
Salisbury Vet Clinic... about $190 for a male (roughly - depends on size.)
blacklabrador
AWL shelter at Coombabah - I doubt you'll find cheaper. It's the pound for the Gold Coast so their vets are very practiced at desexing!
Jetty
I took my boy to Park Ridge Vet which is sort of south west. It was about $200 if I recall depending on size.
Little Gifts
Beenleigh Vet Hospital has specials on every Wed or Tues for desexing. Dr Renate Atkins has been my vet there for donkey's years and price wise they are very reasonable as well as mighty fine, animal loving vets (and vet nurses). Their number is 3287 2599. MolassesLass
AWL shelter at Coombabah - I doubt you'll find cheaper. It's the pound for the Gold Coast so their vets are very practiced at desexing! AWL also has a clinic in Ipswich now - 42 Tiger Street, West Ipswich. Cost me $250 for a 75kg male castration a few months ago with CityVet.
