frankfurts
my 9 week old tibetan spaniel always scratches around the ears and face i took him to the vet and the vet thought it was earmites. We gave him some advocate and i am supposed to give him more next week. He has fur missing between his eyes now which i think is from all the scratching. Could it be something else and not earmites? cos he doesnt seem to be improving.
~Anne~
It could be demodectic mites ie mange. I would have him back to the Vet for a scraping to confirm. Once demodex takes hold, it spreads rather quickly and can be very difficult to bring back under control.

frankfurts
Vet said it may be soemthing fungal and to put some betadine on it, i have to put more advocate on next week and the week after that he gets the 2nd needle so the vet said she will check him then, hopefully it doesnt get any worse
Kelly_Louise
Could be some kind of allergy reaction? When Chloe had her latest one, she scratched her face and rubbed it on the ground so much she took a bit chunk out of her eyelid
