lillim
http://www.news.com.au/national/abandoned-...r-1225867554682 A DOG left behind at the scene of a hit and run on the Gold Coast may yet lead police to the culprit. An elderly woman was seriously injured in the crash on the Gold Coast Highway at Burleigh about 6pm on Sunday (AEST) when a car travelling north crossed into the southbound lanes and struck three vehicles. Police said the woman was trapped in her car and had to be freed by Queensland Fire and Rescue officers, using hydraulic equipment. She was taken to the Gold Coast hospital in a serious condition. The Brisbane Times reported a total of seven people were taken to hospital after the wayward driver collided with three oncoming cars. The driver responsible fled the scene, leaving behind his V8 Commodore and his dog. Police were checking if the Staffordshire terrier is microchipped, which would provide details of the dog's owner. Anyone with information is asked to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
Kelly_Louise
My bet is it's not microchipped... or registered. Poor bugger, I hope it finds a better home than someone who would just leave it behind I do hope they catch the guy responsible, and also hope those injured a speedy and full recovery.
