One of his BEST traits though is his reliability around human meals! he is fantastic - I can sit & eat a meal with him asleep on my lap .. or my Brother can sit there and hamlet just ignores.... same if we leave a bowl on the couch.. to dash to teh phone.. he will not touch it , and yet he will almost kill himself to steal another dog's dinner, or the bag of cat food! he's an odd mix!
