persephone
Oh, dear - injuries are worse than I first thought :D I guess with him obligingly sticking his head or leg thru the hole , he was effectively trapped. poor boy. Hopefully the swelling will start to go down as antibiotics and other drugs take effect. Thoughts and prayers sent. The neighbours do not sound as if they are going to be nice to live next door to I am sorry that it is all such a mess.

wolfgirl
I dont' know what to say that is too sad Poor Tyson I would have thought the council have the right to enter the property ???? Pockets can you PM me the rough area so I make sure I don't walk my dogs around there cause I don't think I would like to run into these dogs and owners
Pockets
We don't know if they stuck there heads through or what, but they ripped pailings off the fence to get to Tyson.... Edited May 17, 2010 by Pockets

Red Fox
Poor Tyson What an horrific thing to come home to. I was going to say give the neighbours the benefit of the doubt, they probably didn't expect that their dogs would tear through the fence. But after reading your last post about them refusing to appologise, pay vet bills and hiding the dogs it seems that is not the case. Hope Tyson pulls through. He sounds like a fighter. Loving my Oldies
I dont' know what to say that is too sad Poor Tyson ;) I would have thought the council have the right to enter the property ???? That's what I thought, too particularly when such a horrific and unprovoked attach has occurred.
Pockets
Because the didn't enter the yard the council couldn't gain access, but I don't understand that one of these dogs has previously attacked another dog before and council have a record of it but still can do nothing
Stolzseinrotts
Healing thoughts being sent to Tyson. What an awful thing to happen in his own yard. I hope that Tyson's family have some kind of luck with the owners of the offending dogs.

Pockets
It's quite scary that this is part of society No futher updates on Tyson as yet :D he is a fighter and wags his tail when his family comes to visit but he is still in intensive care thanks again for your kind thoughts and support, why can't the DOL community actually live in one, how nice that would be Edited May 17, 2010 by Pockets
Loving my Oldies
It's quite scary that this is part of society Never a truer word said, Pockets. And considering lawyers, solicitors, judges, legal profession ARE part of society, even scarier.

Pockets
Update on Tyson : Vet has assessed Tysons leg and prognosis is not good, he said there is too much muscle damage and nothing they can do to save the leg, so he will have his front leg amputated Other injuries are ok, but he still has to fight all the infections
