Wilbur
ah Jed, not a day has gone by I haven't thought of all your little ones lost and wished it wasn't so. It's the one thing that we can't heal, replace or mend - but we can share your tears and let you know how sorry, how utterly and completely sorry we are for your loss. I am glad they shared their lives with you, glad you had the time you did with them and I hope some day soon the happy memories wont feel so painful. I could not have said it any better (thanks Kissindra) Jed, my thoughts are with you every day

hortfurball
Oh Jed, Thank you for sharing your thoughts, feelings, tributes, photographs and grief with us. What an honour Jed has bestowed on the DOL community by sharing with us these precious photographs and the unfathomable depths of grief and pain she must be going through. It's almost undone me, frankly. :D + another here. Face needed a wash anyway...

Jed
morning all :D Four-Feet I have done mostly what most men do, And pushed it out of my mind; But I cant forget, if I wanted to, Four-Feet trotting behind. Day after day, the whole day through Wherever my road inclined Four-Feet said, I am coming with you! And trotted along behind. Now I must go by some other round, Which I shall never find Somewhere that does not carry the sound Of Four-Feet trotting behind. Kissindra
Morning Jed, hope you slept well. What a beautiful poem, so simple yet it ignites such a complex depth of feeling in anyone who knows what joy our furry family members bring to our lives and how deeply we feel their loss when they are no longer with us.
