My goodness you have been busy today. I just went to work and then walked and washed one Collie. And I need a sit down here in the waiting room a Tim Tam and maybe one of those cupcakes.

Heartening news Toohey, thank you. Jed, if you want one of these yummy treats, you had better continue the steady progress and beat us to it. We'll even clear a couch of the furbabies, but only for you.

Great to hear there has been more improvement :D

Jed, today has been a cracker here for the last day of autumn. Started out with 12C with quite a chilly wind until around 10.00am, clear skies, and got to 21C.

Managed to get five shelties groomed, bathed and blow-dried today, they have really blown their coats since last week when I took off to Bundy, Gin Gin and Maryborough with no. six, chasing points for his title.

"Chilling out" now until this weekend when we have three 7 week old sheltie pups to look after until Wed 09, and then on count down for a litter due anywhere from 11-17 June, depending on when Bree "took" from her mating and taking into account 59 days, as she is a maiden. :eat:

We have today popped a winter rug on Cedar, our 14 year old Arab gelding, he sure will appreciate it at night now :D

Still thinking of you Jed, each and everyday. Baby steps.......

*** So much yummy food, yummo. Moves a cat gently to one side, grabs a Cav for a snuggle, and sits down with a HUGE plate of food and cupcakes and applecrumble and..... Fends Cav of food and puts Cav near Whippet for a snuggle until has eaten yummy food.*****

I think I will hang around for a while such good food and company - who wouldn't want to stick around in here.

Evening room, just popping by on my way to relight!

Great to here that Jed is slowly improving, thanks for the report Toohey.

Still very cold down here, so I think I'll put an Irish Stew in the slow cooker for dinner tomorrow, I'm not very good at sweet things, couldn't possibly improve on those yummy cupcakes!

I too am popping my head in on my way through to light another candle. * grabs a cupcake* on the way through. Mmmm devine. Needed a sugar hit.

Keep fighting Jed. Heartening to hear the positive update.

I will return with some beef burgundy with garlic mash and crusty rolls later.

Hi Jed, still thinking of you and wishing you well.

Just popping in on my way to light another candle...

oh dear, spoilt for choice, lasagne or beef burgundy...perhaps a little of both, finished off with one (or three) of those scrumptious looking cupcakes...

Good morning Jed - thinking of you as always :grouphug: There is an amazing fog on the Dandenong Ranges this morning - I can barely see the silhouettes of the gum trees beyond the balcony and decking! It feels like we're "in a cloud" :vomit:

Ziggy is pestering me to go for a walk but I think I might wait until I can see more than my hand in front of my face before heading out.....will have another cuppa and some breakfast first - gee those bacon and eggs look fabulous! I'm cooking porridge too (even porridge-haters love my porridge :) ) if anyone would like some......sultanas, brown sugar, LSA, banana and stewed apple optional.

*finds space on the couch and has cuddles with with all the canine and feline residents*

Still thinking of you Jed, and hoping today is another good day - with a little progress and healing.

Has there been any updates on all the furries and how they are going (especially that little Chi Chi  )? I'm very busy at work today and don't have time to read back through the pages... but if there has been can someone post a page # please?

Gotta run, but always time to pop our heads in to wish you well Jed, and see how you are going.

It's heartwarming to see the waiting room is always full

Good morning Jed. Good morning all. I hope you are all well today. It is such a pleasure reading all your comments each morning, you're almost starting to feel like family! This waiting room is like a refuge from the world outside. I would love some bacon, eggs and coffee (was there a hash brown with that??)

I hope you are feeling much better today Jed. Will be keeping a close eye on any progress reports Toohey might share!
