Popping in to the waiting room...my isn't it crowded. So glad to hear there is some improvement with our Jed! I brought her a box of chocolates, but as she is not ready to eat them yet, perhaps we can all share them around and I'll bring another for her later. Just watch the dogs don't get any! Keep improving lady, won't you!

Dear Harminee thanks for cleaning up the room - that Newfie drool needs one of those Sham-Wow cloths!!!

I am so glad Jed is improving gradually and I am thinking of her many, many times a day!

Karaoke - umnmmmmmmm not really my strong suit but I guess Karaoke always needs listeners right!?

Settles in with a big BIG mug of Gloria Jean's extra chocolatey hot chocolate and prepares to be entertained by DOL's talented singers!!

BTW - every song must feature the name JED somewhere in the lyrics right!?

Just checking in to say still thinking of you Jed. And what a beautiful caring waiting room you have. So full of positive , healing thoughts.

I'm making a curry for dinner if anyone wants to share, hope it doesn't stink the waiting room out too much.

Just popped in to check on Jed's progress, thrilled to hear there is an improvement!

Doofus, Kodi and I cant stay for long, but here are some brownies to share and an extra big bag of liver treats for the poochies. I hope there is enough to go around such a big crowd, I'm sure Jed can feel the love pulsing from her waiting room into her room. Jed - we miss you and will be here waiting for as long as you need us to.

Woooo wooooooo wooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo!!! Some improvement - well haven't we all been waiting to hear that!! What fantastic news, good work Jed - keep it up! :p

Just ducked in quickly with Chloe for my daily ritual of checking for any news (I'm then obliged to report it to Mum - who is also following closely but doesn't have internet access)... Sash would love to come, but I'm afraid that she's just way too nervous around strangers, and petrified of waiting rooms. Although, the muffins may tempt her out. But that's okay, cause Chloe is here to show that it doesn't matter what the odds, or how bad the situation seems - with a bit of heart you can triumph over anything, and come out smiling at the other end.

I'm so pleased that there has been a positive improvement (regardless how small). It's the first step in the right direction.

Oh what great news to hear - thanks Toohey for letting us know. Must say this is the nicest waiting room I have ever seen :p

Hope everyone doesn't mind a bit of sheltie hair on their clothes - it brushes off, honest :)

Brrrrrr ...... sure is warmer in here than at my place, even with the heaters blasting away.

Hope Jed is nice and cosy. I reckon she'll just grab her drip line and run to the other end of the hospital with all the singing and the howling of the dogs.

I haven't worn ear plugs since I lived on a six line highway in London, 1000 and one years ago.

:p :):)

Sneaks quietly into the waiting room and takes a seat nearest the exit (claustrophobia).

Glad to hear Jed is holding her own, even better there is a small improvement. :p

I made some freshly baked cheese scones, and they are delish with butter. I did have some chocolate to share but it seems to have disappeared. *looks down at belly accusingly*

Anyone know how to play Cribbage? I just learned but don't have a board.

Like many many dolers I had to check back in.....love the newfie rugs in the waiting room and all the other various breeds draped around the place....figured with so many + 2 shelties and a gsd I had better bring a big sack of pigs ears for the pooches. Sorry if it means more drool but hey they will all enjoy them. I went to the link for that song but couldnt listen to it.....too many tears.

Improvement is a word that came with a smile................it is a long road but we are all there to share it

Glad to see our very own "magical" waiting room is doing so well

The very funny thing about this room that

:: there is ALWAYS room for everyone and their furbabies

:: phobia's disappear for both human and canine and everyone feels at ease and welcome

:: and quite magically this karaoke suddenly sounds like a choir of angels ( can't have the nurses complaining)

:: best of all it self cleans so never seems to get messy no matter how much the doggies shed..

in short.. it's perfect for fun and sharing and the odd giggle as the dogs let one go every now and again as we wait for more good news to filter through..

I baked a tray of doggie treats .. they need spoiling too

Sorry Caz, don't know how to play cribbage, but I am sure someone here does.

But, I won't say no to your freshly baked cheese scones. mmmmmmmmm... yum

All these dogs, all these people, yummy food, drinks, music and games. All we are missing now is Jed.

I am working on a karaoke song with Jed in it.... I will get back when I come up with one.

OK, this may not be the most appropriate with lyrics, but the best I could do at short notice.

This is "Ben" by Michael Jackson, but when we do our DOL karaoke version, Ben will be exchanged with "Jed" and I was invisaging it being sung on behalf of her animals.
