It's whether they choose to acknowledge what they're being "told" by the other dog that's important when it comes to dog to dog interactions. Evolving Posted May 11, 2010 Share Posted May 11, 2010 One of mine is play growling right now while playing bitey face with the other. I suppose it would look bad to others as there are teeth and growls going everywhere but they are just playing with no one getting hurt or even losing fur. The other does not make much noise unless she gets 'hurt' in this play fighting (eg a hair pulled) out and then all hell breaks lose. She is a little sook.
