blacklabrador Posted May 3, 2010 Share Posted May 3, 2010 Dry food without water can be lethal. I really don't think that labs are as predisposed to bloat as, say a, great dane or a dobe. As can a large amount of water on top of an already distended stomach. Regardless of whether a dog is predisposed or not, they can still bloat and to allow them to add a large amount of water to an already dangerously extended stomach is just dangerous.
