MavericksMission
They were free for the shelter staff at work. I would never had paid that amount of money for something that I had great doubts with But when they were giving us free ones at work, I guess curiosity got the better of me

MavericksMission
I can too WoofnHoof, but not entirely sure that he is a pure breed
Kirty
Oooh got any more freebies left? I want to test my dogs!
WoofnHoof
I can too WoofnHoof, but not entirely sure that he is a pure breed :D Probably just means he had all the markers for sibe and no markers for any other breed, it is odd that they specify that they think it's pure when it only relies on a few genetic markers as far as I'm aware. MavericksMission
Kirty - Twas only for the staff in the shelter to test their own dogs :D sorrrrrrryyyyy WoofnHoof - Yes I think they just said he was pure sibe because they couldn't find any other "primary" breeds When people ask me what breed they are I'm a bit confused as to what to call them... what I have always called them or what bitsa thinks they are.. I think I will continue calling them what I am now..
Earthdog
What is your best guess re Hector?
MavericksMission
Well the people who surrendered him said Koolie Cross Husky.. I can't really see the Koolie in the colour or anything.. maybe a bit of Husky in there.. not entirely sure.. Does anyone have any thoughts? What you guys would call them? What breeds you see? Earthdog
How big is Hector? What is his build? He looks very much like a friend's dog. Is he chocolate and white (sorry I have problems with colours).
MavericksMission
He is still a pup, so still growing, he is only just going 4 months. I guess I will get a better idea when he is fully grown. He is chocolate and white :D He is tall and chunky..
Earthdog
My friend's dog is predominantly Kelpie. She is chocolate and white. His face just reminds me so much of her.
MavericksMission
He could well have a bit of Kelpie in him.. Maybe thats where the Koolie is hiding.. in the kelpie like face
WoofnHoof
The puppy pics of him you posted in the other thread do remind me of my sibe as a pup so there could be more in there than it appears at the moment.
