I looked at a used one the other day (looked same as yours) but  sadly about 5k out of my price range!!

I've had my heart set on a Rav4 for a while now. Would you mind PMing me with where you saw this second hand one and perhaps an idea of the price they wanted? It is probably out of my price range too, but I'd like to know, if you don't mind? What model was it?

A car that I looked at that had the back seats sliding forward was the Renault Scenic. That had a stack of room in it, drove nicely and you can pick up second hand ones for a good price as people are scared of Renaults, lol.

I really liked the Tucson until I drove it and then didn't like it at all. They were around the $26k price new last year so were a fair bit cheaper than the other SUVs.

Well its funny you say that cause I said to my OH lets not be hasty till we have a drive. Before I got my Rav 4 I had my heart set on a Holden cruze and when I drove it I was horrified it was just terrible to drive on the open road, no guts and so much body roll I couldn't believe it.

Erny PM gone your way!!

Does anyone know of cars that have air conditioning vents in the rear cargo area? I have an Outlander, and it's fabulous for Bianca - I don't even need to fold the seats down and she fits well, but sometime in the dim dark future, I'd like to have something similar but with air con vents in the far back.

I'm thinking I'll have to go to a people mover and rip out the seats, but I don't want to do that as I'd have to drive it everyday and it would be shite.

We were looking at a Rav4 but they really don't have a lot of space in the back... at least not the earlier models like we were looking at. Barely enough for a trolley and definitely not enough for the gazebo.

From memory someone was selling a Ford Limo for 8k on Dol a while ago.... tempting :) I think we will just go with a Ford Station Wagon though, much more room than my poor little Mx5

Mine has heaps of room in the back but it is the 07 shape (made in Aug 06). There is also plenty of room in the back seat for passengers.

Hi guys, just thought I would do a quick update...... I got my car :D We decided on another commodore Wagon, it is a Berlina International, so it is a bit flash inside it had under 100,000 kms on the clock and the price was right so even though it is a few years old we thought it was a good deal. It is in immaculate condition, only thing we have to do now is fit a cargo barrier. And we decided to keep my old wagon for OH for work and we traded his old old work car, so we have two very dog friendly cars with plenty of room which is great!!

Heres a few pics

We took CJ with us he looks happy to be getting a new car
